You can only deal damage with weapons, good news for you, there are weapons scattered everywhere use cannon and slim gun to deal with the gunmen and the people with daggers.

02:40 - Proving Grounds 2
Kiryu (Beast)
Use the furniture to get the full extent of beasts damage

05:00 - Proving Grounds 3
Majima (Thug)
You cannot fail this. Like literally. If you get hit it still counts as a pass due to it being an endurance round.

07:00 - Proving Grounds 4
Majima (Slugger)
Either use the bat swing (Light + Light + Heavy) or the Nunchuku one (Light + Light + Light + Heavy). Also, do use the heat actions, they really help deal with some of them.

10:10 - Proving Grounds 5
Kiryu (Rush)
Ok this one is kinda tough. So you gotta defeat waves of zombies. Ok. First of all go for the one with the most health, cause the other waves spawn after you beat a certain number. Which... dealing with 3 of them doesn't really seem like a fun experience

16:15 - Proving Grounds 6
Majima (Breaker)
You need to earn cash for this one. If you are experienced in Breaker battle this will be simple. If not. The more you knock them down without getting hit yourself, you gain an increased cash amount for consecutive knocks.

18:20 - Proving Grounds 7
Kiryu (Beast)
A Beast Training Level. Grabbing boxes causes the pistol mannequins to shoot you, but with beast you can block the bullets if you are carrying something so use that to not lose time. You just need to break stuff to get an amount of money, not kill everyone. Gear 3 of beast gives you the ability to ignore being staggered.

20:45 - Proving Grounds 8
Majima
In this one you have all 3 drugs from a substory added at once. When you are in Thug use the Marlin cannon or any other weapons on the ground, also use some of the ground heat actions, Breaker - The Low Blow (Light + Light + Light + Heavy), Slugger - Either Nunchuku or the strong hit.

24:05 - Proving Grounds 9
Kiryu (Dragon of Dojima)
Ok. 4 waves. No damage. First wave, take care of the knife guy first, then use the knife or your fist to deal with the other two. On wave two you will have only one guy so just focus on trying to not get quicksteped and punished, do not waste heat aswell. On Wave 3, grab a bike and heat action the fat guy, then kill the two gun men. And the last wave is just one guy, use the drop weapons from Wave 3.

26:10 - Proving Grounds 10
Majima (Mad Dog)
Same as the last one in terms of what you have to do. For the first wave the enemies rarely attack so dealing with them is quite easy. Tho I do advise to quickstep cancel the Mad Dog Consecutive Slashes, cause you need the heat. On Wave 2 try to wait and attack the enemy after his attack. On Wave 3 try to use the Heat Action on the 3 enemies. Tho be careful of the shotgun guy, when she aims counting and on 2 exactly dodging will give you a clean dodge (NO YOU CANNOT GUARD AGAINST BULLETS). And for the last guy. You can guard against all of his long ranged attacks, it also builds heat, so getting close enough for him to just attack with that one move gives you enough to punish and heat action him and pass it
