Fighting against Shinzaki and Arase at Level 1 (no level ups) on Extra Hard difficulty. Kind of sloppily done on my part as Shinzaki is way less aggressive compared to Normal or Hard, where you can get rid of him within a few minutes and, as you can see, I didn't figure out a good strategy until about 5 minutes in. You can see that a few times, I ran up to Shinzaki and get sliced/stab; when I see him start a combo, I run to him to counter his last attack in the combo and as you can see, I succeed sometimes and fail others. Why do I do these challenges? Well, it's just a testament to how bad ass Kiryu is - he can take out two assassins...without upgrading!

Note: I don't know why it wasn't uploaded in HD since it was recorded as such. If anyone knows how this works, please let me know.

Strategy:
On other difficulties, get rid of Shinzaki first. He's much more aggressive and will normally attack with a jumping stab or 2 knife combos. He has other moves but these are what you normally will see. You can easily Tiger Drop the jumping stab; for the 4-5 hit combo in which he starts with a light stab, it's easy to counter the 4th hit, and for the 3 hit slash combo, counter the 3rd attack. For this difficulty, when you're targeting him, he repeatedly just slides around, so focus your standard combo attacks on Arase, since Shinzaki will more likely approach you while you're targeting Arase. Don't really try bother using Heat Actions on Arase as you have a rather small window to do so, and in regards to the Super Finish, Takedown won't do more damage even though there's 2 of them there as whoever you're doing it to won't hit the other person. Once Shinzaki's out of the way, the battle's a cake walk. Note that, for Arase, once his life hits orange, don't add any heavy attacks (triangle) to your combo as Arase will likely counter them. You should be able to counter his attack after you combo him from behind; wait a moment and he'll do an attack. In this case, I was playing it safe, but it's pretty much the same thing I did in the Amon video.

Saves have been uploaded to GameFAQs soon and when they're available for anyone who wants to attempt this challenge (and most likely, do better). I know there are people who want to try challenges like these, but don't want to run through the whole game without leveling up just to do them and although you can't save with someone else's Yakuza 3 save file, you can still load it up and play it.
