Yamaha PSR-350 Keyboard - Tutorial
171Hello everyone.
In the next 6 videos, I will be showing you everything that is on the Yamaha PSR-350 keyboard released in 2001.
I have been given this keyboard from work back in June 2011, it was one of those failed insurance jobs, apparently there was orange juice or similar spilt into the keyboard, and although everything works on it, the keybed of the PSR-350 did not work, so what I did was take the keybed from one of my other Yamaha keyboards, I took the keybed out of my PSR-270 which I have done videos of some years ago, and put it in the PSR-350, I will have to find a keybed from a non working yamaha someday and put it in my PSR-350, then I shall put the keybed that is currently in my PSR-350 back in my PSR-270.
I remember before getting my own keyboard back in the day seeing the PSR-350 in the Argos catalogue as I used to like browsing the catalogue looking at different keyboards, it was the first keyboard I have ever seen to have a floppy disk drive, this was before I knew that loads of mid range and top of the range keyboards had floppy drives back in th 90s, if knowledge serves me right, I dont think the mid range keyboards had floppy drives until around the mid 90s when flagship models had them since the start of the 90s or maybe even the late 80s, this keyboard is only an entry level model in comparison, although I liked the look of the keyboard when I first saw it, unfortunately I couldn't afford it, I was only 13 back then and didnt yet have my own keyboard.
On this video, I'll be doing a Tutorial of the Yamaha PSR-350 going through the Functions & Features and showing you how to use the different Functions & Features so you can get to know how to use the PSR-350 if you have this keyboard or are thinking of getting one.
