Yamaha PSR-SX920 Keyboard - Unboxing + Demonstration Song + Tutorial Part 1/4
101Hello everyone.
I know that it’s been nearly 4 months since I have uploaded my 900th YouTube video, and I’ve not been very active since then, as always, after uploading a special milestone video, I tend take a short break from making videos, this time I have taken a longer break than usual, but during my absence, I have been working on many new videos of a new series that I’ll be starting to upload, and here is the first video of the new series which will be of the Yamaha PSR-SX920 keyboard.
There will be altogether 49 videos on the way of this series (or technically 50 if you’re counting the video I have uploaded on the day of the keyboards launch), there will be new videos released of the PSR-SX920 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday up until all videos of the series are released!
This series is not going to be as big as the Genos 2, but it’ll still be a huge series regardless!
I have got this keyboard back in October last year and sold my PSR-SX900 back in August last year after finding out that there will be a new keyboard that will replace it.
Even though I absolutely love the PSR-SX920, I only played on it twice last year, once on the day I took it home, and once a few weeks later, it was at the time when I was going through a tough time due to the back then recent loss of one of my family members, that I wasn’t myself and didn’t feel like doing anything, and I know I probably should have made videos a few weeks after getting the keyboard, but due to the situation, I didn’t feel it was right for me at the time as I needed some time off from YouTube, it wasn’t until about over 7 months later (in the middle of June this year) that I have played on the PSR-SX920 properly and thoroughly and was the time that I have gotten myself seriously busy in making videos of it, it has taken me over 5 weeks to complete making all 49 videos and I am currently in the middle of editing the upcoming videos that I will be releasing over the next few months, so I guess it is better late than never!
The PSR-SX920 could also be considered as a baby/mini Genos 2 to some people, but I'd prefer to call it the Genos+, the reaseon for that is because it has all the features of the Genos 1, and plus it has some features of the Genos 2 even though you don't get all the sounds from the Genos 1, you don't get Revo Drums, you don't get all of the super articulation 2 voices (only 12 on the PSR-SX920) and you don't get ensemble voices either, but everything else from Genos 1 is on the PSR-SX920 and you also get loads of styles that were new to the Genos 2 as well!
As some of you are aware that when I uploaded my 900th video, I had 900 videos, 2 months later, I went back down to 899 videos, unfortunately one of my videos was taken down and my channel received a copyright strike which is nothing that I can do about it, unfortunately, I took part of YouTube copyright school, and passed all questions so thankfully the strike will expire and my channel will continue to be in good standing after that, despite losing one video, there will be many more videos in the pipeline of the Yamaha PSR-SX920 series to make up for it!
The first 4 videos will be a tutorial of the PSR-SX920, part 1 will be going through just the basic functions, part 2 will be going through the more in depth functions, part 3 will be going through the more advanced functions and finally, part 4 will be going through mainly the recording functions etc.
After the tutorial videos, the next 17 videos will be going through every sound, after the sounds, there will be 6 videos of going through every multi pad bank and finally, the last 22 videos will be going through all categories of accompaniment styles!
To start of the Yamaha PSR-SX920 series will be part 1 of the tutorial going through the basic functions so you can get to know how to use the PSR-SX920 if you have one yourself or are thinking of getting one.
These videos will also help those that have a PSR-SX720 as well.
Before the first tutorial, there will be a short unboxing clip, then after that will be a short clip of the built in demo song, and after that will be the main part of this video, the tutorial.
The next video will be part 2 of the tutorial in which I will be showing you more in depth functions of the keyboard.
