10This sounds so good, it kinda sounds better than the SNES version imo. I wouldn't be surprised if Square used samples from a Yamaha MU80 to program the music with for Final Fantasy VI.
This is actually the first MIDI of mine that actually mimics the Stereo separation of the original song. I never saw the point of stereo, so I just never used it. But when I actually mixed it all in Stereo with a pair of headphones, it added so much more depth to the song than I ever thought it would. Even when I played it through my Mono PC speakers, it sounded better. Everything had way more definition and just popped more. I have a newfound appreciation for Stereo.
SIDE NOTE: I'm not that much of a Final Fantasy guy, never gotten along with JRPGs tbh. BUT, I have respect for the series and I love some of the Music, particularly the battle themes. This song and the FFIV Boss Battle theme are my favourite tracks in Final Fantasy.
