It's now time to check out the first of the seven BREAK Evolution Pokémon from the Steam Siege expansion of Pokémon TCG in this week's Live Online Match. First up is Yanmega BREAK, with the Barrier Break attack, doing a solid 100 damage which is unaffected by any effects on the defending Pokémon (including Weakness and Resistance). Also in the spotlight is the Stage 1 Yanmega, with the Sonic Vision Ability, allowing you to ignore the Energy requirements of Yanmega's (and Yanmega BREAK's) attack if you have exactly 4 cards in hand. I'll be pairing this Pokémon up with Octillery and its Abyssal Hand Ability, allowing me to draw cards until I have 5 in hand once per turn. I can then play one of those cards out, get my hand down to 4, and suddenly be able to use Yanmega's attacks for free! I'm also including the Judge Supporter in the deck, which is another surefire method of getting my hand to exactly 4 cards. With the right setup, Yanmega hits fast and hits hard, so let's see if it can pull through in this week's Pokémon TCG Live Online Match!
