YES THE NPC MASSACRE CHALLENGE IS OVER!
245HARDEST CHALLENGE IN THE UNIVERSE
ACTUAL CHALLENGE RULES:
- All Characters I encounter from the "People" journal entries MUST die. Most notably, kill Ratface every time unless I can't get to a back-layer shop. It's okay to leave GLOOP for later, as it's optimal to murder him in Sunken City.
- All Pets and Shopkeepers MUST die. Prohibitive exceptions are admissible: a spawn that would leave me with zero bombs, or getting to the mothership. Generally An HONEST EFFORT must be made.
- NPC instances should be maximized for highest kill count. That means stealing from the first shop and rescuing vegetable ladies so they all die at Olmec. If going Tide Pool, Tusk would have to survive for an even bigger massacre at her party.
- All other humanoids deserve AN HONEST EFFORT to kill, but they don't invalidate the challenge. Especially cave men and tiki men, it's just too boring!
- Monsters and critters are free to tremble at my passing.
- WE PRAISE AND WORSHIP KALI IN THIS HOUSE SO SPAWNING BEG IS NOT NECESSARY.
