I have recreated YO-KAI Disco from the arcade game "Mamoru-kun Has Been Cursed!" in Note Blocks. Hope you enjoy!

I really like this song. It's funky! It fits in with the channel because this game is a cute japanese shoot-em-up. (Not danmaku, though).

Here's some fun facts about this song, since I got in touch with the original composer, Yasui Yousuke:

The song was created with the Sega Genesis's soundchip, the YM2151. Except, it was an emulated VST version called VOPM. Yasui Yousuke, the composer, used presets on the VOPM site and edited them to create the tones of the song. These tones are stored in OPM.

I reverse engineered some of his sounds. I'm not entirely sure how he created the drums, but it sounds like a 16-bit MSGS tone. The whole song is fake-bit, as it's MIDI-based. Cool!
