In 2015 ex-Rareware employees received over 2 million Pounds through Kickstarter in order to make a game which was supposed to be the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. The result would be Yooka-Laylee, a crazy platforming adventure featuring silly puns, funny voice acting, and collectables galore just like we all remembered. The game received mixed reviews, and unfortunately went overlooked by many as a result. Playtonic is actually now remaking the game in the form of Yooka-Replayee which aims to polish the experience and make it more accessible to all. But in the meantime, let's see just how the original holds up nearly 8 years after being released!
