23Let's Play the Yooka-Laylee Toybox + Pre-Alpha Demo! We get our first impressions of Yooka-Laylee gameplay from Playtonic Games! The spiritual successor to the classic Rare days of Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day!
We are WAY excited for this game, and had a blast doing a playthrough of the Yooka Laylee Toybox. Simplistic fun platforming collect-a-thon action! We did some 100% completion of this Toybox+! We got all the secrets from what I can tell, and we collected all 100 Quills and obtained one of the Pagies! Then we got the super mega ultimate Yooka-Laylee secret at the end!
Yooka-Laylee is an all-new open-world platformer from key creative talent behind the Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country games. Newly-formed as Playtonic Games, the team is building a spiritual successor to its most cherished work from the past!
Playtonic’s new heroes, Yooka (the green one) and Laylee (the wisecracking bat with big nose) were conceptualised for stellar platforming gameplay, created by the same character artist behind the rebooted Donkey Kong family and legendary N64 heroes Banjo and Kazooie.The magical Pagies will assist the buddy-duo in their ultimate mission to thwart corporate creep Capital B and his devious scheme to absorb all of the world’s books… and convert them into pure profit. David Wise (Donkey Kong Country) and Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie) combine in what’s sure to be a melodic masterpiece! Seriously, clean out your ears – they’re in for a treat.
