Yooka-Laylee is an upcoming 3D platformer that is set to launch in early 2017 for Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam! Touted as a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, the game is developed by Playtonic Games, which includes ex-Rare team members that worked on the two games.

The Toybox Pre-Alpha Demo was given out to Kickstarter backers that pledged into a certain tier. This is not a demo of the actual game, but is instead a "self-contained" sandbox experience to give players an idea of the final game's gameplay and mechanics. There is another demo out that contains some extra content, but that is reserved for those that pledged into an even higher tier.
