Yoshi Valley was always one of my favorite courses in Mario Kart 64 since the leaderboards were shown as question marks rather than who was in first! Plus, the N64 version felt more balanced, as Mario Kart 8's version is almost too small & doesn't reflect the true epic maze that is Yoshi Valley's course! On top of that, the music is shared with Moo Moo Farm, which is easily one of the funniest tracks with the Monty Moles that pop out from the ground.
While I do enjoy Mario Kart 8, the mechanics of Mario Kart 64 truly did shine for its time back in 1996...how you could wiggle the control stick back & fourth to make your character dizzy, the item movements, even the crashing felt like a true Mario Kart game!
