Utilizing AI technology, I was able to extract the vocal from the Super Smash Bros. version of Ashley's Song; of course there are parts of the song where you can tell the vocal isn't perfect, but after intensive EQing & resonance removing, overall I am extremely satisfied with the results! I am willing to re-record original vocals for this in the future if enough people are interested in that! 👀
What's fun about this new remix is I've taken the vocals from the Smash version: a jazzy, upbeat big band combo & merged it with the original "WarioWario: Touched!" instrumentation – the off-beat strings, the simple dark bassline & melodies! I even added a mini-jazz break after the first drop...what a crazy blend of genres! I love when music takes you for a ride, always leaving the listener surprised 😎
Never in a million years would I think I'd obtain the skill or capacity to remix a Nintendo anthem such as Ashley's Song; I'm very glad it's my first remix to the WarioWare series. If only I had the words to describe how much I was grooving while producing this; this might've taken me longer than any of my other remixes simply because I kept jamming to myself forgetting I was even supposed to be perfecting the mixdown 🤣
