As you know Yoshi is my favorite character in the whole Nintendo universe and I'm so excited that I can finally play a Yoshi game in high definition. :-)

For this project we bought a PDP Light Up Dock, where you can illuminate so called "Shields", which are probably just plexiglass plates. As these shields can be easily swapped we took our chance to make some customized ones by our own.
We went to a DIY market in order to buy some plexiglass plates. A staff member was so friendly and cut the plate into smaller ones, which are exactly as big as the PDP Light Up Dock Shields. We only had to do some fine-tuning with a Dremel rotary tool.

Again Nintendo was so kind to send us a copy of Yoshi's Crafted World (German) for testing and here is my first impression.

Although I haven’t played that much, I’m already amazed by the first levels. The art style is so cute and fits perfectly into the Yoshi-franchise. You can find a lot of things in the back- and foreground, which makes the game even more beautiful. The coop-mode is enjoyable as it makes a lot more fun to play this game together. There are a few issues, though. Sometimes it is annoying that you can accidently swallow or hinder each other. Another problem is that you lose all your eggs when you get swallowed by your team partner.
A great feature is that you can switch between different Yoshis whenever you like. Personally, I prefer playing with the red-colored Yoshi. What about you? What is your favorite Yoshi color? Tell us in the poll. 😉
There are also a lot of Yoshi costumes you can win in-game, but I think they are too bulky.
