Aaron the Pendatic just did a video on fixing 5E D&D and as I love Aaron and love to make fun of him, here is my response on why I think trying to "fix" 5E does not work and my idea that perhaps 5E is not the game people want to play it's just the game they think they want to play. 5E is the McDonald of Role Playing,
1: I don't think I have yet to play 5E as written or run it as written because..
2: 5E has this expectation to it thanks to a Youtube show
3: The name Dungeons and Dragons implies a specific atmosphere and 5E is not that anymore.
