You ONLY Need These 6 Exercises To BUILD MUSCLE!
You only need these 6 exercises to build muscle! Obviously you should and can do more in the gym, but for those that ask what they should do to form a 'base', I would go for these. Remember, though, it's about being consistent and intense more than anything. You can just do one exercise for the rest of your life and as long as you're pushing it and attacking it with power you will see results. And you gotta eat. Of course...
Otherwise, ensure you incorporate the following into your routine:
• Deadlifts
• Barbell Rows
• Squats
• Shoulder Press
• Pull-Ups
• Chest Press
