89Age of Wonders: Planetfall is a wonderful game that mixes a lot of different genres, like base building, colony management, resource building and turned based combat, adds a hearty dash of story and tops it off with some gorgeous visuals. Oh and there are LASER DINOSAURS.
We play as the Dvar in the campaign level on the icy Chimera Glacialis where we compete for mining rights against a rival faction of Dvar, whom we soon discover we have rather close ties with.
However we soon realise that we aren't alone on the planet and things aren't as straightforward as they could be, with roaming monsters, other baddies and missions all keeping us busy.
Can we claim the mining rights of this icy world? Can we find common ground with our Dvar relations? And what's going on with the robot zombies?!
