Dismayland is a mini series I completed and invited you, the viewers, to create your own versions.. and now we tour them!
So. Competition time!
Thank you all so much for your Dismayland submissions. Every single one of you was amazing. Thank you for putting so much effort into it and taking the time to submit them. We need a winner, which YOU will be choosing and this is how it is going to work:
TL;DNR:
The Episode with the highest views, watch time %, likes and comments combined at 11am UK Time on SUNDAY OCTOBER 24TH 2021 will “win”. The prize is a full tour and bragging rights. So, which park do you want to see more of? Make sure you like, comment and watch all of the Episode you want to win.
The Detail:
I have made each submission an equal length episode – up to 15 mins each including POVs (which count towards the 15 mins).
Each Episode, of which there are EIGHT, will be published at the same time: 11am UK Time Sunday 17th October 2021
The Episodes are in a playlist and the order of the playlist was determined by random draw.
The Episode with the highest views, watch time %, likes and comments combined at 11am UK Time on SUNDAY OCTOBER 24TH 2021 will “win”. Each will be allocated a score and calculated at the end. The one with the highest score wins. The scoring mechanism will be kept secret until a winner is decided to ensure lowest risk of manipulation possible. Where an Episode is less than 15 mins, the score will be algorithmically adjusted to ensure consistent fairness.
There is no prize other than bragging rights and a longer, full length Tour to celebrate. Dislikes will NOT affect the result, so please don’t do it just to be spiteful.
You are free to promote your entry, or your favourite, within that time as the YouTube metrics will determine the winner fairly. For example, you may get a lot of views, but if people don’t stick around this will hurt you more than help; where-as a lower viewed video with higher watch % will perform better over-all.
If there is a tie, the members of the channel will vote between those that are tied. These are the ones who have clicked “join” on the channel. If you want in on that, then it isn’t too late to join. Whether they are influenced by you is up to their own personal integrity.
If that ends in a tie then I will chose from the ones that are tied. My decision is final and will not be influenced, so please don’t even try.

Extra bits if you read this far and care:
15 mins was chosen based on the number of submissions and to make it easier and more likely that viewers could watch ALL of the submissions. It also makes the “winning” tour of a longer length more attractive to watch in the future, but I’m sorry if they feel “rushed”. I’ve also tried to make them all the same format and as generic as possible so that I don’t show a bias and to keep it fair.
