YouTube Is A MESS! - A Small YouTubers Perspective!
54I normally don't make videos like this, but YouTube is a mess and I thought I'd add to the conversation from a small youtubers perspective while reacting to CoryXKenshins video about racism and favoritism. In this video I tend to ramble a bit, but I stand with Cory and tell some of the things that have happened to me on my journey so far. I wouldn't say it's racism 100%, but I also can't prove that it's not either and HOPE it's not, but it does look bad on YouTubes part with their lack of fairness. I've seen favoritism on this platform though for sure and I've been abused in a different way by the youtube copyright claim system since the beginning. I think the youtube reviewers are probably overwhelmed with the hours of videos being uploaded every minute and rushing to meet a quota. All I want is for YouTube to be more transparent and to be fair to it's creators starting with better communication and telling us what we actually did wrong instead of generic emails and false age restrictions and claims. Stop the pandering during certain times of the year and instead help creators all year round! I'd be fine with spotlights and things like that for creators if they truly cared and did it more than once a year instead of while every company is doing it at the SAME TIME to seem like they care. It just seems so fake imo. Cory is an amazing guy who's family friendly and someone I respect a lot. He goes ABOVE and BEYOND censoring himself and even the games too. If the most wholesome creator can't be told what he's doing wrong or be treated fairly, than what chance do us small youtubers have? It's very disheartening and I don't want to be treated differently or shown any favoritism because the color of my skin and YouTube needs to communicate better to us and fix how they review videos. I know I'm not good at speaking in front of a camera, but I hope the point gets across alright. If I offended someone or didn't explain something well enough then I apologize for that, it was not my intention. If you take things out of context or run straight to the comments with some garbage I'll know, so actually watch the video for full context please.
The world is too divided and we all need to come together and lift each other up. My channel is here for everyone, I like making videos to make people laugh and to share things that I like with the world. I don't care about your race, gender, sexuality, or politics...just try be the best person you can be and treat others how you wish to be treated. I know it's impossible for everyone to like my content, my views, games I play, my potty mouth, etc but to those that do I appreciate you. You all are the reason I keep going on YouTube.
As of writing this description both Markiplier and Jacksepticeye have made videos that SHOULD be age restricted, but they aren't. That's very telling of YouTube. I know that Cory is a big YouTuber and I don't think he or many other people will see this, but I still wanted to help and to spread the word. Subscribe to @CoryxKenshin and show the man some love. If somehow Cory sees this, I'm sorry you're dealing with this over and over. Thank you for speaking out for youtubers and I hope YouTube gets its act together. See you again in Trending soon my dude.
