YouTube Studio Beta feedback & Analytics questions.
YouTube Studio Classic was supposed to have gone away a few month ago, but it is still here. This is actually a good thing, but it shows that Studio Beta is not ready yet. I do like the look of Studio Beta, it's very streamlined, shows a good amount of information without cluttering & is useful. So my major gripes with Studio Beta are these:
-Descriptions are annoying because you can only see 4 lines at a time
-I don't know how to get to the new Live Studio organically
-Playlists are ordered based on creation rather than last added to
-You can't see ALL your playlists & you can's search playlists either
-Editing end screens causes the video to enter processing mode even though the video isn't edited, only the end screens
-Cards & End screens need their own page together
-Selecting & deselecting videos on the video screen to edit or add to playlists take up to 5 seconds
-Recent subscribers are ordered by their subscriber count rather than most recent
-Tags can't be added in live studio beta; are tags not important?
-Copy & create live streams sometimes take a long time or has an error
-[NOT MENTIONED IN VIDEO] when live streaming, if my internet has a hiccup or I have to restart a stream, it ends the stream & I have to create a new one
-Copy & create a live stream totally changes the timezone for the stream
Then, regarding analytics, I often have a few discrepancies. My analytics shows my audience as 100% male (sometimes) despite the fact that my mom & 3-4 of my friends are female who watch quite often. Age group of my audience is supposedly 100% 18-24, despite my mother, again, being in her 50s & watching literally every video all the way through, plus a few other people who I know for a fact are older than 24 & younger than 18. Lastly, countries data is incorrect because I know for a fact there are people from Finland, Egypt & Slovakia who watch rather often, but my analytics show 0 across the board for those countries.
Maybe these discrepancies are there to protect privacy, which is totally understandable, but it should be known then. Otherwise, I'm sitting here wondering if the rest of my analytics are even accurate or not.
