YouTube's cancel culture has grown in popularity over recent months and ballooned into one of the biggest problems the platform has seen in 2019. Livestreams of James Charles vs ProJared and Tati have pushed the platform into a direction that Google's YouTube is not ok with. The negativity is clearly affecting the bottom line and their answer is to ruin 3rd party subscriber counter sites like socialblade in effort to minimize the attention that subscriber counters get.
