As Adol enters the Campanile of Lane, the five bell tolls Keith spoke of begin. In the foyer he sees Maria, Sada's fiancé, prepared to be used as a sacrifice for the demons' ceremony. Dalles awaits Adol at the top, where he explains exactly why the ceremony is taking place. He then rings the bell for the fifth time, leaving Adol to pick up the pieces and kicking off the crunch time portion of the game (new BGM!)

With his mission an apparent failure, Adol returns to the Goddesses' Palace where they inform him of a method to reverse the petrification of the runaways. With the Black Pearl from Burnedbless and the Dreaming Idol, Adol is able to do just that.

In the Subterranean Canal he also runs into Sada, who had been petrified as well during his assault on Solomon Shrine. No longer needing it, Sada gives Adol the almighty Cleria Sword, and directs him to his father Hadat to get the Cleria Armor. With all of this, Solomon Shrine is all but cleared and the game's climax is in sight.
