Exclusive to the PS2 port of the game, Alma's Trials are an optional sidequest of the PS2 version of the game put together by Konami that consists in a bunch of new stages for more options when it comes to leveling yourself up, complete with additional new music tracks. They're nice for level and Emel grinding, but don't really add much to the game. Still, they're worth undertaking for the sheer amount of Emel you can rack up from the rewards.
