14The endgame of Sacred Cards has a lot of cutscenes compared to the rest - so this video has as many duels as the others but also many cutscenes also.
Final thoughts:
- Overall, a much better experience than vanilla Sacred Cards. Actually hard opponents, way easier to actually be able to use more of the stronger cards. You can see that I had Reflect Bounder and 2000-point attackers in the final duels - you would not see that in vanilla without oodles of grinding.
- This patch takes a 4-hour game and turns it into an 8-hour game, I would say. Still not super long but, again, a much better experience.
- On that note, I did undergrind and rely on luck in some spots, but I also did not face many generic opponents that could have given me a boost. This game is still not long, so you might want to take a few of them on yourself.
- Only change to card effects I can think of is the direct damage cards, which are much better now as a result, so this is welcome.
- Only hiccups are when certain opponents go way over the top and don't give a lot of options for countering them. Keith has Great Moth in his first duel, almost requiring a Fire monster from the player. Possessed Joey can wipe your LP with direct damage in two or three turns if you don't have Goblin Fan. Change of Heart, Relinquished and Thousand-Eyes Restrict are also present in some endgame opponents; these are the only cards I consider outright unfair.
- Overall: Great work, can't wait for a Reshef patch if you're aiming for that, Kartal.
