Playthrough of arcade mode with Bui. Now, you'd think a fighting game based on Yu Yu Hakusho would be something you couldn't mess up, but this is really lackluster. The single biggest problem with this game is how incredibly sluggish it plays -you input a move or combo, and things are so slow to respond.

The game limits itself to the Dark Tournament saga, so some of the playable characters are guys who play really minor roles in the manga. In addition to the arcade mode, there's also a story mode, which features a ton of clips from the anime series. I love the discount Smile Bomb theme used at the main menu. Presumably they couldn't get the rights to it, so had to make do with something that kind of sounds like it, but not really.

Anyway, the reason I'm doing some Yu Yu Hakusho games is because the anime series turns 30 this month. And what better way to celebrate it than by making a massive update to my site about it. Check it out: https://rq87.flyingomelette.com/RQ/C/YYH/1.html
