Here I present the most stressful run of the year. Started out strong with the almost perfect start (I missed the fairy on the right smh) It isn't really that hard especially when you use the full power clear to your advantage. And here comes the fairy that made me reset 99999 times. Why is this so inconsistent, even now I still don't know how this section works is it random angle or smth? Even if I clear this thing there's still this little bitch to ruin it also. First spell, I chose to not bomb this spell because idk how to clear the others :P. Raged few times in it, but not too bad when I practiced it enough. Then Patchy's second spell Royal Flare, which IF I fucking knew there was a safespot and a easy clear there I wouldn't have to deal with that peace of shit fairy. Then random bullshit, fuck that, bomb. Macrostreaming not too bad, but then the small ass bullets like my eyes can't focus its toooo small and there's so many so I just bomb the last, dense wave since the first ones weren't really that bad. Many times I missed that extend, ye I know I'm that bad.

Here is the legend herself, Flan, her non-spells are easy but don't be so confident since she's just warming up her attacks. Flan's first spell, here is a demonstration of how practice and memorization is important (especially with shmups), on the first runs I just won't get it my positioning was off, movements were unsynchronized. But then with the help of thprac it just clicked, memorized the pattern and I could probably clear it today still. After a break comes the second spell Taboo "Lavatein", "Booo cheese af" ye I know I can do this spell I just want to clear it faster (when speedrun brain). Flan's Four of a Kind, very famous spellcard, that death was expected and I guess you can treat it as a bomb which may be actually more effective than an actual bomb since losing a life gives you immunity and you can actually damage a boss instead of the Flan going cubby hole mode. You will see me do this death damage technique more in the run (or other extra runs). Her next spell, Taboo "Kagome, Kagome", is a tough one cause Flan moves and I don't damn know where she will go next so I either die waiting or random free clear cause she's directly in front. And here comes my favorite part of the run, the clean AF Maze of Love. Fuck actually going around her this is the ultimate cheese strat. I was only expecting a 1 bomb in that but with practice I can have rare occasions that I no bomb it, which luckily happened here. Clearing that so damn quick was so satisfying that I didn't even care how the run went. This was it, I said to myself at that time. Starbow Break, with luck I could've cleared it but oh well the nerves were getting me. Next is Forbidden Barrage "Catadioptric", here I did another trick where I optimized spellcards so that I could clear them with 1 bomb which made things go fairly smoothly, them more shotgunning. Eat these needles you vampire! The streaming non spell almost threw me off, like you can see that I almost hit bullets several times, wasn't that good with streaming back then it was only my 2nd achievement after all. In the next spell Counter Clock I needed to do another life sacrifice, I didn't have bombs anyway and I didn't know how to fully clear this spell so it was the only choice. Here comes the expected timeout spell, and as you can see there was a big gap there that I could've just crossed but I was not confident with my hitbox sense back then and boy did I regret bombing it since it left a shit ton of bullets when the repeating section began. Like I can't move so I just did what I could. The next waves I did perfectly since I've practiced with diagonals (thanks again thprac). Then I bombed another time to do my final cheese strat, taking a big chunk in her health bar.
And then boom I got 2 lives and its last spell I could just bomb and I win but you know it had to go wrong somehow. Died 2 times, thought the invincibility was long enough.... Won with 0 lives lmao. At that point I was just done finally after almost a damn month I cleared this stage. I was surprised it was only 9 minutes long since it felt longer. Surprisingly this run was also done on a Friday like my EoSD 1CC and PCB 1CC (both soon). Coincidence? I think not.
