Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2...fun fun fun. It's a good fighting game based on the anime with a pretty large roster of playable characters. Some of them are hidden and can't be played with from the start, though you can use a code to unlock them. It's typical Street Fighting fare. You have your basic punches and kicks as well as special attacks... but you also have desperation attacks that are so powerful that you lose a sizeable amount of damage even when they're blocked. I also like the environmental damage done by powerful attacks.

It's not a particularly challenging game, though catching computers with desperation attacks can prove to be very tricky unless they're unblockable. It also has a story mode where Yusuke starts with no special attacks other than his one deadly desperation attack. He learns moves as he progresses and gets allies to help him.

This is the first SFC YYH game to implement a standard fighting engine I think. The first played much like Yuu Yuu Hakusho: Tokubetsu Hen and Yuu Yuu Hakusho Final is the second YYH game to play like a standard 2D fighter. Enjoy.
