FINALLY! After a month (off and on) of playing Time Machine, on Magic Pixel's Zaccaria Pinball for the Switch, I was able to beat my existing score for the 5-Ball Simulation Mode AND get a recording of it! My 5M score was posted when I was away from my setup during work travel. So this has been a particularly frustrating time, LOL.

The key goal on this table is to go for the M-A-C-H-I-N-E letters as much as possible. That can be done by completing the A, B, C, D, E, F targets in the Pop Bumper section, when the table is "in future", completing the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 shots when the table "in the past", and collecting the Red Special target in the future when lit by completing either of the 3 drop target banks on the left and right side of the field or by completing the A-F or 1-7 targets (completing those targets both guarantees a MACHINE letter and gives the player a chance to earn an extra letter). Once MACHINE is fully lit, shoot the time hole (or also the Green Special Time Hole entrance in the past) to collect 1,000,000 points. And then try to do it again.

The added difficulty of Simulator mode (i.e. shorter flippers, the TILT sensor is active, steeper table angle) makes this a particularly tough challenge.
