Zak Wolf Compares the "Little Red Riding Hood" Golden Book Video!
33It's Golden Book Video Comparison Time again, and this time, Zak Wolf gets to do one! Naturally, being a Big Bad Wolf toon, he looks at the 1985 Little Golden Book adaptation of "Little Red Riding Hood" and compares it with the infamous freaky and intense adaptation seen in the "Three Fairy Tale Classics" video, most notably how it was changed near the end in an attempt to make the story somewhat less intense than it already was. (The book had the wolf actually eat Little Red Riding Hood, and when the woodcutter kills the wolf, he pulls both Red and her Grandmother out of the wolf's corpse.) Of course, "Golden Book Video Killers" co-star Daffy Duck gets in a few bits as well, reminiscing on how he and Grumpy ( @Tomblappy ) were freaked out by parts of that story.
