24Here's a mini-series I am doing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of my favorite childhood PC games: "Richard Scarry's Busytown!" Here I will be comparing the original 1993 MS-DOS version (which I had as a kid back in the 90s) with its' enhanced 1999 remake.
For this installment, I compare Bruno's automated deli of the future in both versions. The technological limitations of the 1993 version really show, with customers sliding in and out of the deli while they all have the same voice. Some familiar Busytown faces also visit the deli in both versions. I even show how mistakes are dealt with in both!
