Developed and published by Nintendo and released in 1987 for the Famicom and in 1988 for the NES in North America and PAL countries, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda.

We join Link once more, six years later, as a strange symbol appears on his hand. Impa tells him of the story of Princess Zelda, how she was cursed into an eternal sleep until the 6 statues in 6 palaces are activated and the Triforce of Courage is recovered and used to break the curse on Princess Zelda.

This game is quite different from all the other entries in the Zelda series, and is probably the hardest out of all of them. A lot of dying is going to occur.
