Part 22 of my Zelda II Video Walkthrough. It's time to assault the Great Palace. \n\nThis place is huge and would probably take about an hour and a half to fully explore (I know I had some seriously long trips in here before I found the maps), so you're not gonna see all of it. Just the route you need to take. If you need to remember it, just remember at the forks: Left, Right, Right, Left.\n\nAlso, if you die in here, you can continue right from the start of the palace (instead of taking that awful path again).\n\nCommentary:\n0:06 - If you haven't placed the crystals in the palaces, this forcefield will not be removed. It'll damage you if you try and get in...you can't even get through with a Shielded Fairy (I've tried). \n0:30 - Well, it's not like I was gonna get far anyways.\n0:43 - If you're intent on killing those things, Reflect can block the fire. No real point to it, though. In fact, no real point to killing anything in here unless it's in your way.\n0:52 - There's an invisible floor in the upper floor just past that pillar.\n2:17 - This, my friends, while I don't know the proper name for it, is like an Ironknuckle on crack. Just run past it. Don't bother fighting it toe-to-toe OR with the "jump-stab" technique. It will kick your ass.\n2:27 - If you must, fight them from higher ground. When they jump up towards you, they're vulnerable. You can knock them back down. Miss them, though, and you're in trouble.\n2:46 - Hidden wall leading to statue with either Red Jar (yay!) or Bird Knight (AHHHHH!)\n3:08 - Hidden wall here too, but if you got the Red Jar in the room above, this one will not activate (if you got a bird, you can try again here).\n3:46 - All the enemies in here are tougher than ones out in the world. NO bot outside here can survive a Level 8 Stab. \n4:02 - If you can climb up to here, you can easily kill this Bird Knight.\n5:23 - This is just a giant Bubble. And a bad place to have one. :/ It splits apart into smaller ones when attacked.\n5:45 - This time I was almost able to lose the Bird Knight. They're persistant, though.\n6:05 - Nuts.\n6:24 - Nuts.\n6:40 - Nuts. To heck with it.\n7:01 - In another token of generosity, the Palace hands you a 1-up. Eh, maybe I'll try again for the jar.\n7:33 - Nuts.\n7:48 - A fairy, even. Careful not to drive down into to the lava.\n8:08 - Finally!\n8:43 - This looks like a dead end, but there's a hidden pit here...\n8:49 - HAHA! A quick upthrust can spoil this ambush (which is kind of a shock if you don't know it's coming). There's another one of these someplace else in the palace, if you feel like exploring.\n9:00 - Well, isn't this obvious...let's see what's down here!
