Zelda II - The Adventure of Link Video Walkthrough - Part 13
Part 13 of my Zelda II Video Walkthrough. These boots are made for walking...on water, that is. So that's what we're gonna do.\n\nCommentary:\n0:02 - Only certain areas of water can be walked on. This is one of them. Now let's see what's down here...\n0:12 - The Lizardman is sort of like an overworld Ironknuckle. He's not as vulnerable to the "jump-stab" technique, but he's a bit easier to fight toe-to-toe with. Attack using pretty much every technique you can think of (high, low, jumping, downthrust), and he'll go down eventually.\n0:34 - "Here, kid, let me hold you above my head for a minute? Okay, now get in my backpack..."\n0:54 - Getting back is a lot easier with the boots.\n0:59 - A 1-up we don't want or need yet.\n1:07 - See that patch of road that leads off into the ocean? That's a hint. You follow it out to the Ocean Palace. That's not where we're going...\n1:30 - Heart container #3. Nice.\n1:50 - Enemy encounters on water are ignored. Anyways, back to Darunia.\n3:55 - OMG!!! NO WAY!!!!\n4:15 - Yeah, and I also find mirrors and fetch water...hold on a sec, YOUR child? \n4:38 - Reflect is a very useful spell. It lets you block fire and heavy weapons (like axes and clubs), and it also...well, reflects magic.\n6:45 - We're baaaaaaack!\n7:12 - That was an awful lot of effort to kill one ghost.\n7:25 - Ha-ha! Usually in here, it's a good idea to use Reflect to kill the wizards. They're worth the XP, there's usually 3 or so on a screen (though you sometimes have to walk back and forth to spawn them) and could drop red jars. Like this one.\n7:39 - Upthrust and Jump are needed here.\n9:28 - Continued next time!
