Zelda Majora's Mask N64 Comparison (Nintendo 64 vs GameCube vs Wii VC vs Wii U VC)
This time it's Majora's Mask. I'm comparing the GameCube, Wii VC, and Wii U VC versions to the N64 original. (Using Gamecube and Wii footage.) This doesn't cover all the differences, but this is all I found just all the way to the end of the Ice Temples and some parts after.
In the GameCube and both Virtual Console versions it's more difficult to make precise shots with the Bow, due to the control sticks having more dead zone or high sensitivity.
The GameCube version is missing the background in the intro. The lava in the Ice Temple is brighter than it's supposed to be. The GameCube version has minor sound problems when going into another area. Also, the GameCube version is apparently known for crashing randomly. (So far it hasn't happened to me, but that could be because I played the GC version on Nintendont). Slow down/Lag happens in certain areas. In Mikau's cutscene, his band mates appear in the background before they are supposed to be seen.

The Wii version is missing part of the effect from the Goron roll. The Ice Mountain textures don't show in this version. For some reason, the fairies are more colorful in this version. The Rumble Pak isn't supported in this version. The Wii version also has minor sound issues going into other areas.
The Wii U version, from what I've seen, seems to correct the things from GC and Wii. It does have the dark/desaturation filter that is applied to all N64 games on Wii U to prevent seizures. The sound issues going into other areas doesn't seem to be in the Wii U version, although the load times between areas is a bit longer. There's probably more noticeable input lag though.
