Wow, a let's play of Zelda OOT, so original, much new.
Being serious though, the reason I'm playing through this game is to test out my new Framemeister. I don't have the best mods to get RGB out of my consoles, but S-Video through a Gamecube is pretty solid and makes this game look fantastic. The settings that I am using for it are the same as the 2X settings here

Talking about the actual game though, Zelda OOT is considered by many to be the best game of all time, let alone one of the best Zelda games. While it has aged like many other games, it still stands up as being a fantastic game today. Maybe it's not the best game ever, it still did a lot for the video game industry and deserves MOST of the love it gets. People sadly hate this game though as fanboys have given it a bad wrap by shouting at anybody who disagrees with their opinion (similar to FF7 and it's fans). So many people either hate or dislike this game out of spite, instead of actually not liking the game. It's possible they were just too hyped for it as well so when they actually played it didn't live up to the hype.
Disregarding all that though, it's still a great game and saying it is anything else but a good game, even in the modern age of gaming, is ignorant. It did so much for the industry and cemented Zelda as a one of the most respected gaming franchises. Which is crazy because the last game on console, A Link to the Past, was also one of the best games for the Super Nintendo. To have one fantastic title after another. Sadly from here on out it seems like everyone had something to bitch about the next game in the series. At least until today with Breath of the Wild. Regardless I hope you enjoy the LP!
