Zelda: Skyward Sword HD #021, Ancient Cistern (2/2): Koloktos; Nayru's Wisdom; Fledge Quest (2)

Previously, Link collected Sacred Water from the Skyview Temple and used it to heal the Water Dragon, Faron. In return, Faron opened the way to the game's fourth dungeon, the Ancient Cistern. Link began exploring the Ancient Cistern, defeated the Stalmaster, and acquired the Whip. Now, he will continue exploring this dungeon in search of Farore's Flame.
Ancient Cistern:
Link resumes at the Bird Statue by the entrance in the first room.
In the west of the room, there is a waterfall. Link uses the Whip to turn around a lotus leaf whose root is above the water. Then, while standing on this leaf, he uses the whip to pull the hang lever switch. This stops the waterfall. Link hops into the water and swims through the underwater opening.
Link surfaces in the sixth room. A Skulltula is just ahead. In the east, a chest contains a Red Rupee, worth 20 Rupees.
To the west, Link uses the Whip to pull a switch beyond the gate. This opens the gate. In the area beyond, a Green Bokoblin Archer is on the platform to the north. Link prioritizes this menace. There are also Green Chuchus around the pool on the floor below. In the south, Link can play the harp near the Blessed Butterflies to reveal a treasure wall.
From the Green Bokoblin Archer's platform, Link uses the Whip on a hook o the west to reach the ivy across the gap He climbs onto the northwest platform, where there are a couple of Deku Babas. Then, he climbs onto the ivy on the large rotating cylinder. He rides it to the southwest platform, where another Green Bokoblin Archer is waiting.
There is a hook to the east. Before using it, Link shoots down a Walltula on the ivy beyond. Then, Link swings across so that he targets the hang lever switch on the wall. He pulls the switch to open the gate above. Then, Link swings across and climbs into the northeast area. After taking out some Deku Babas, he uses the Whip to pull the bulb-shaped switch. This activates a whirlpool in the pool below.
Link dives into the pool below. It sucks him down to the seventh room on floor B1. He arrives in the southwest portion. With the Beetle, he knocks down some Skulltulas. Knocking down the eastern Skulltula flips the lotus leaf and unblocks an underwater path. Link saves at the nearby Bird Statue.
Link takes the underwater path to the next part of the room. The northeast gate is locked. However, a Green Bokoblin Archer on the other side of the bars has the Small Key. To get the key, Link uses the Whip on the Bokoblin.
Link goes east through the locked door. A brief cinematic shows the boss key chest in the room to the north. Link cannot get to the chest from here.
To the east, Link hops into the water and gets pulled up another pipe.
Link arrives in the eighth room in the north of floor 1F. On the southern platform, he pulls the hang lever switch to open the gate to the ledge where the Dungeon Map was located in the first room. There is also a Bird Statue nearby, in case you want it.
From the water, Link spin-jumps onto the southeastern platform. He uses the Whip to turn around the lotus leaf so that its roots are in the water. He also shoots the Walltula on the ivy on the wall. Link climbs the ivy to the higher ledge. A Quadro Baba is ahead.
At the gap between the eastern and western platforms, Link jumps into the water and turns around a lotus leaf so that its roots are in the air. This reveals a tunnel under the leaf. Link swims down into the tunnel, but there are a few Froaks on the way.
The underwater tunnel leads Link to the southwest part of the room. Past a Deku Baba hanging from the ceiling, Link finds a bulb-shaped switch. He pulls it with the whip to activate an upstream in the middle of the room, under the lotus leaf that he turned upside down.
Link makes his way back up the eastern side of the room. With the whip, he turns the lotus leaf around again. Then, he uses it to hop across to the western side of the room. To the southwest, he uses the Whip on the hang lever switch to open the gate.
Link emerges on a ledge in the northwest of the first room. A Furnix is likely to attack here. There is ivy nearby, but there are a few Walltulas on it. On a ledge below the gate that Link just took, a chest contains a Red Rupee, worth 20 Rupees.
Link uses the ivy to climb across to a ledge to the southwest. He finds a bulb-shaped switch. Pulling it activates a water jet that gives him a shortcut back up here.
Then, along the wall, Link finds a lever switch. When he pulls it down with the Whip, the statue in the center of the room is lowered. He can now go through it to reach B1.
