Previously, Link found the Mirror of Twilight atop the Arbiter's Grounds. Unfortunately, the Mirror has been shattered into four pieces, and Link must find the three remaining pieces around Hyrule.
Link starts out in Castle Town. He heads into Telma's Bar (time 1:15). Telma counsels Link to talk to Ashei, who is investigating the northern mountain.
If Link checks the map on the table, he will get a target marker just beyond Zora's Domain (time 2:10). Also, Auru is back, and he will provide a little more background about the Sages.
Afterwards, Link warps to Zora's Domain (time 3:06). At the base of the waterfall, he heads through the thawed western exit (time 4:44). This leads him to Snowpeak in the Peak Province.
A scene occurs as he exits the cavern (time 5:05). Then, another scene occurs as he approaches the heavily coated person (time 5:15). This turns out to be Ashei. She gives Ashei's Sketch to Link. This depicts a massive beast. It lives on the mountain, but it has been seen in Zora's Domain recently. The sketch shows it holding a red fish.
Then, Link returns to Zora's Domain (time 7:27). If he shows Ashei's Sketch to the inhabitants, they will identify the red fish as a Reekfish, and they will say that Prince Ralis is excellent at catching this type of fish.
So, Link warps to Kakariko Village (time 8:41). He visits Barnes Bombs to pick up a few more Bombs.
Then, he heads to the Graveyard (time 10:34). By King Zora's grave, he shows Ashei's Sketch to Prince Ralis (time 11:29). Prince Ralis gives his Coral Earring to Link. The earring is made of a type of coral that Reekfish feed on, so it can be used as a fishing hook for the Fishing Rod. Ralis also indicates that the Reekfish can be found near the Mother-and-Child Rocks in the waterfall basin in Zora's Domain.
Afterwards, Link warps back to Zora's Domain (time 13:46). On the eastern ledge of the waterfall basin, he can easily fish for Reekfish (time 15:07).
After he has caught one, he can change to wolf form and sniff it (time 15:49). He will learn the Reekfish Scent.
Following the red scent trail with his Senses activated, he heads west to Snowpeak (time 16:46). The Reekfish Scent will guide him west across a frigid lake. Be careful not to take a dip in the water, though; it's freezing.
On the western side, Link can follow the scent across a snowy wasteland in white-out conditions. The scent will guide him up the slopes. Look out for Ice Wolfos. He will have to take a couple of alternate routes as it goes up cliff faces.
In a spot where he finds two Ice Keese, he can dash into the wall to lower some snow (time 18:34). This gives him a way up.
On a high ledge, he will find another Howling Stone (time 18:58). I am not familiar with the tune that he has to howl here. When he howls the proper tune, the Golden Wolf will ask him to meet him in the Graveyard near Kakariko Village. But we were just there...
Afterwards, Link will have to dig through a hole in the southwest of the area (time 20:56). This leads into a short tunnel. Beware of ice and Ice Keese in here.
At the top of the tunnel, Link goes outside to the summit of the mountain (time 22:38). Before going too far, it would be a good idea to take out the Ice Keese.
As Link proceeds, three more Shadow Beings drop in to play (time 23:57). Defeating them yields the Snowpeak Top warp for Link. The weather clears, and on the slope above, Link will see the snow beast that has the Reekfish.
Before approaching the creature, Link warps back to Kakariko Village (time 24:49). In the Graveyard to the east, he approaches the Golden Wolf (time 25:57). First, he tests Link's mastery of the fifth Hidden Skill, the Mortal Draw. Then, he teaches Link the sixth Hidden Skill, the Jump Strike. It is similar to the basic Jump Attack. Link has to L-target the enemy, charge by holding the A button, and then release A to perform the Jump Strike. This creates a surge that damages multiple enemies. Only one Hidden Skill remains for Link to learn!
Afterwards, Link warps back to Snowpeak Top (time 29:31). Next time, he will approach the snow beast.
Thanks for watching!
