Previously, Link explored the interior of Hyrule Castle and cleared out the route to the boss door. The time has come to go through and throw down Ganondorf ... but probably not once and for all.

Link begins by backtracking through the castle. On 4F, he passes through the boss door (time 3:06). It takes him to a cool outdoor area. It kind of makes me think of something out of Dark Souls, but this was certainly before Dark Souls.

A scene occurs as Link goes into the throne room upstairs (time 3:56). Within, he finds the captive Zelda and the evil Ganondorf. After some typical villainous posturing from him, he possesses Zelda. Then, it is time to fight.

First, Link battles Ganon's Puppet, Zelda (time 7:51). Ganon has taken possession of her. She has three attacks. One is a triangular energy field on the floor, which Link should avoid. The other is a sword lunge. In the third attack, she will fire a ball of energy at Link. To damage her, Link has to bat back the energy at her with the Master Sword.

Another scene occurs after Link defeats the possessed Zelda (time 9:34). Midna uses her power to dispel Ganon's influence from Zelda. However, Ganon still has more tricks up his sleeve.

In round two, Link battles the Dark Beast, Ganon (time 10:51). In this form, Ganon rampages around and disappears through a portal. At first, he will conjure numerous portals, and he will emerge from the one that turns blue. As he emerges, Link will have to shoot the glowing jewel on his forehead with an arrow to stun him. Then, Link can use his sword to attack the wound on Ganon's belly. Afterwards, Ganon will drop from the ceiling. Ganon can be stunned when he is charging and the jewel on his forehead is glowing. Then, things will change again. He will jump away when Link fires at him. At this point, Link will have to go into wolf form, let Ganon get close, hold A to grab, and then tilt the control stick right or left to throw him. This is the reason for those Ordon goat tutorials much, much earlier in the game.

More scenes ensue after Link subdues Ganon's Dark Beast form (time 13:47). Midna restores Zelda's energy to her. However, it is not over yet for Ganondorf. Midna teleports Link and Zelda away and then tries to use the Fused Shadow's power to subdue Ganondorf.

Additional events occur as Link and Zelda arrive on Hyrule Field (time 16:27). Ganondorf arrives mounted in humanoid form. At Zelda's entreaty, the light spirits bestow upon her the Light Arrows, which she will need to smite the villain.

Then, it is time for some mounted combat against Ganondorf (time 19:01). Definitely not enough of that in this game. The objective is to follow him and target him so that Zelda can shoot him with a Light Arrow. While Ganondorf is stunned, Link can strike him with the Master Sword. Ganondorf has a couple of attacks that can throw Link off Epona: a sword swing and phantom riders. So, be careful.

Another scene ensues after Ganon has taken a bit of punishment (time 21:05). Then, Ganondorf will lock Link in an arena.

Then, the final part of the battle will ensue (time 21:55). Link battles the Dark Lord, Ganondorf. Be careful of the energy barrier, as it will damage Link. Ganondorf is good at blocking many attacks, but the Back Slice is a good way to get the drop on him. When Chance appears on the screen, you can press A to initiate a sword clash. At that point, you have to button-mash A as fast as possible.

When Ganon is knocked down, you MUST use the Finish command to finish him off (time 26:35).

Then, the final scenes will begin (time 27:05). It seems even his buddy Zant has turned on him. Then, a truly impressive scene with the light spirits and Midna will take place. Something is quite different about her. Wow, she's really quite pretty.

The credits begin afterwards (time 30:11). Lots of scenes take place around Hyrule. I like the inclusion of the classic overworld theme in the credit music. I also like that it follows the Ordon children as they journey home from Kakariko Village.

A scene with Link, Zelda, and Midna occurs in the Mirror Chamber (time 36:08). I would say that Midna has feelings for Link, but they are quite literally from different worlds. This scene kind of gets to me, in a good way.

After the scene, the credits continue (time 39:45). We hit the spirit springs, where the fairies float happily. Finally, we seem to see Link riding back home to Ordon Village.

The description is continued in the comments.
