Previously, Link gathered both Small Keys from the castle courtyard and unlocked the door leading to the castle's main keep. Now, he will explore the main keep.

From the courtyard, Link heads through the door into the main keep (time 0:27). In the entrance hall, Link will have an event battle with several Bokoblins and Lizalfos. Defeating them restores light to the entrance hall and reveals a chest on the northeast balcony. Link will need to use the Double Clawshots on the chandeliers to get from balcony to balcony, starting from the eastern platform.

On the northeast balcony, a chest contains the Compass (time 1:55). Again, there is a chest that I missed in the western courtyard, but it just holds a few Rupees, so I won't sweat it.

On the north-central balcony on 2F, Link goes through the northern door (time 2:31). The northern room is home to a Dark Nut. What a delight. Be careful of the barrier. Upon the Dark Nut's defeat, a chest appears on the northern ledge.

Afterwards, Link must light the eastern torches to raise some steps in the middle of the room. There is also a cauldron of lantern oil in the west, which will definitely help. From the partial northern step, Link will have to extinguish the western torch with the Gale Boomerang. While the boomerang is moving, he will have to hop back onto the northern step before it is raised up. This lets him access the northern ledge.

The chest revealed by defeating the Dark Nut contains a Purple Rupee, worth 50 R (time 5:12). So much money, and nothing to spend it on.

Now, there are two available routes, and both lead to the same place. Link will explore both of them.

First, he goes southwest (time 5:32). The western room on 2F is home to two Lizalfos with skull helmets. They are a doddle with Bomb Arrows. Afterwards, Link reviews the art along the eastern wall. The middle one, which shows a twilight scene, is different. Link can knock the picture down by shooting the string holding it. This reveals a switch, and shooting this switch opens the southern door.

There are switches behind the other pictures, but those will cause enemies to appear.

Link goes south to the southwestern room (time 6:40). This room contains two Dark Nuts. Well, nuts. It is advisable to pull one and fight it separately. Defeating them unbars two doors. One leads northeast to the southwest balcony in the entrance hall. The other leads southwest to the ramparts.

Link first goes northwest to the southwest balcony in the entrance hall (time 10:50). A chest there contains a Purple Rupee, worth 50 R. Also, there is a switch that reveals a chest on the lower northwestern balcony.

My intention was to go out to the ramparts and then use the east door to explore the eastern part of the second floor, but that is currently closed off. Nuts. So, he returns to the northern room, where he fought the one Dark Nut.

Link takes the southeast door to the eastern room on 2F (time 12:55). This is a poorly lit room with extinguished torches. A twilit picture along the western wall can be shot down. This reveals the order in which to light the torches in the room: southwest, northeast, northwest, and southeast. However, when he lights the first torch, a massive flock of Keese will attack! Lighting the torches in the correct order unbars the southern door.

Link continues south to the southeast room (time 13:56). Here, he will find two Dinolfols. It is best to take out at least one with a Bomb Arrow. Defeating them umbars the northwest and southeast doors.

Link takes the northwest door to the southeast balcony in the entrance hall (time 14:46). Stepping on the nearby switch lowers a nearby chandelier, which will gives Link a shortcut to the southeast balcony. Yay!

Afterwards, Link goes back around and returns to the entrance hall via the northern door (time 15:50). Using the western chandelier, he goes up to the northwest balcony. The chest there contains a Silver Rupee, worth 200 R (time 16:31). This game really throws the Rupees at you!

Then, using his new shortcut, Link exits through the door from the southeast balcony (time 17:21). Then, he goes the southeast door to the ramparts (time 17:30). Two chests are accessible from the ramparts.

Along the rampart leading southeast, Link will run into a Dragon Knight (time 17:43).

Just inside the southeast tower, a chest contains a Small Key (time 18:28).

The description is continued in the comments.
