I got a new (to me) Quadro K4000 to be a stand in until I can get a graphics card at a reasonable price. So as someone who uses the Zen kernel, I ran into some issues I haven't faced before. So if your someone who has an NVIDIA card, use the zen kernel, and are having issues starting Xorg or with screen tearing I hope this helps. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong, but just ensure you have linux-zen-headers and install nvidia-dkms. Then if your still having issues with screen tearing you can try the other things I talk about. Just make sure to check / install nvidia-settings for the force composition pipeline options under advanced.
