The new map system is so bad for looking for Random Events compared to scrolling through the old list, man. I wish you could switch back to it rather than using the clunky 3D maps, or that at least the UI could be updated to allocate some space in the new Quick Travel grid to show whether there are Events in the area or not.
At least I don't have to worry about this anymore until Komano Manato is, hopefully, released in Version 2.2. Or Orpheus, whoever comes first.
My complaints aside, Lycaon seems to be a unique case among the cast since most of his Events are automatically triggered by approaching him rather than interacting with him, and, as a result, I couldn't get the full idle dialogue for some of them. In addition, there are Events that I've only seen once and never again, which I found unusual, so I haven't had the opportunity to try to record them again.
This video is unfortunately missing a Random Event but it seems that... it simply can't appear in Version 2.0?
There should be an Event in the Metro Station area where Lycaon is with the other Victoria Housekeeping members. However, Version 2.0 updated the map and split the Metro Station area into two different sub-areas —Sixth Street and Lumina Square—, so I wonder if this change is the reason why the Event refuses to appear. Only Lycaon and Yanagi use(d) this area for Random Events so it could be that the devs just forgot to take this into account when creating this new division. I don't have Yanagi though, so I can't say whether her Event is appearing properly or not. If someone could check, I would appreciate it!
I also had a friend help me during a Discord call: we both advanced the in-game time to see if the Event would appear for either of us (I checked mornings and afternoons, while he checked evenings and midnight) and after an hour of trying... absolutely nothing happened. There's no way both of us were THAT unlucky.
EDIT: Turns out that we were, indeed, that unlucky and Lycaon and Yanagi's Events can appear in the Metro Station (another friend has sent screenshots of both Events appearing in their respective areas, as intended). Nothing on my end so far but hopefully I can update the video at some point, whenever Lycaon wants to go to the Metro Station.
In any case, I'm still looking for the Event and this issue has been reported via a Customer Service ticket in case there's something wrong with it and I'm currently waiting for an official response, so, in the meantime, please check the Wiki for a transcript of said Event: https://zenless-zone-zero.fandom.com/wiki/Von_Lycaon/Dialogue#Metro_Station
