Zerg versus Zerg Build Order +1 +1 Zerglings (StarCraft 2 Strategy)
260In this episode of StarCraft 2 Strategy we go over a (currently standard) Zerg versus Zerg build order. After the recent Spore Crawler buff the meta game is kind of all over the place. This Zerg Build Order is currently very strong, even though the meta game is very likely to change.
The goal for the Build Order: Push with +1+1 Zerglings and Banelings + denying your opponent from ever taking a 3rd base.
While we do aim to be aggressive a little bit later in the game, we play it very save initially.
15 Hatch
15 Spawning Pool
17 Gas
17 Overlord
@Spawning Pool: Double Queen
Drone Drone Drone until max Saturation
@100 Gas: Zergling Speed (Metabolic Boost)
@50 Gas: Baneling Nest + Spine Crawler + 2 Sets of Zerglings
@70-90 Gas: Evolution chamber
@Evolution Chamber: +1 Armor + Evolution Chamber
@Evolution Chamber: +1 Melee Attack + 2nd Gas
Around ~40-44 drones
@Max Saturation: 3rd Base + Mass Zerglings
When you can afford it: Get a Macro Hatchery (just for Larvae)
Push at +1+1 with Lings and Banelings, deny your opponents 3rd.
