So this game has some conflicting information. The cabinet says the game was released in 1980, yet every online source says 1981. Digging deep it seems like the game might have been initially released October of 1980 which is close to the new year. The discrepancy could be due to the game officially being out October 1980 (or seen at trade shows, test locations, or simply the first shipments), with most places not getting the game until the new year.
