What if the rings were broken or something? Here's my attempt to complete the game with no rings. I do alright, I guess!

This code keeps your ring count at zero, so one hit and you're dead. It makes for a nice challenge!

FFFE20:0000
FFFE21:0000

Note: When you grab rings, the counter might still go up. The 'RINGS' is flashing though, so you actually still have zero. Also, shields still work.

I used these codes with Kega, so they may only work there. I'd convert them to Game Shark or something, but I have no idea how!
