This chain picks up on the reality where Phi was incinerated, leaving Sigma and Diana to continue on alone. The key thing you see here is Phi's parents and her brother, the proverbial Brother we have heard so much about in this game and VLR...

This is probably the most math oriented D-Team puzzle I've encountered, and to be completely honest, I think this puzzle is more in tune with what C-Team has been encountering throughout the game. Still, it is not that bad when you give it some thought, and the key here is to just know your exponential products that are below 10. I'm hoping I didn't utterly lose you guys while doing that puzzle, but if nothing else, you should be able to still get the numbers and move forward.

The thing that I hate most about this room is the deus ex machina alien tech that suddenly makes an entrance. Most of the other pseudo-science that comes up in the game is based off of theories of people with some scientific thought behind it. Then this transporter makes an appearance that basically flips off everything until this point and serves as nothing more than just a key item to keep the story progressing, a literal, deus ex machina. I'm hoping there is some kind of legitimate explanation somewhere that can somewhat compensate for this, because this is the other point in the game where I say the writing quality crashes and burns. Supposedly, there were supposed to be multiple writers involved in writing this game, and I have to say that it definitely shows, and I think I would have preferred to wait longer to get a game from a single writer than getting this. I'll go into more detail when we reach the true ending, but yes, the game is quickly becoming a disappointment to me.
