Zero Time Dilemma - Triangle (Q-Team Library)
The highlight of this video is going to be the ending for most of you, just as it was in the Quantum Computer. What's so special here is the fact that we will see where Zero has been hiding for most of the game, when he gets shot...
I went ahead and spliced in the C-Team and D-Team executions here since I never fit them into anywhere else, and I'm not really sure on the significance of some of the scenes. It also doesn't really make sense on why they are placed off to the side in the flow chart when they actually do have fixed points at the beginning of each branch after the beginning.
As for the library itself, here we have a puzzle that I think was somewhat lost in translation due to the different reading styles of Japanese and English. For one part of the puzzle, we need to move things to the left, but because English is written left to right, the clue would have to somehow reverse, which was probably not an option for the localization team and they had to hope we could brute force it or realize the difference in styles. It's not too much of an issue since I only had to spend a few more minutes on the puzzle to try some of the different possibilities, but in the end, the entire thing was optional as I had already pieced together the key and was ready to move on to the Mexican standoff.
Now what's important here is that you get to see a plot hole right in front of you. There was also one back in the Radical-6 Biolab puzzle ending. Spoilers await-
So Delta is supposed to be traveling with Q-Team the entire time and we are looking at them from his perspective. This would mean the Q-Team had 4 members counting the robot. Some people would argue that Mira and Eric are never actually addressing the robot, but instead referring to Delta, but that is not actually the problem. The problem is that whenever the number of players on Q-Team is referenced, it is always 3, and the quantities of related items is always set to 3. In the Biolab, you are given 3 vials of Radical-6, and if you choose to inject them, the robot takes one instead of giving it to Delta, something that neither Eric or Mira object to. The second problem is that the puzzle here where we have to shoot members of the teams. Notice there is no reference to Delta AT ALL in this, and they even have the robot in his place. The third problem is that if you choose to shoot Nobody, the robot is executed and he is somehow worth a X-Pass that should belong to Delta. The writers may have thought they were being clever with where they hid Zero here, but that is not the case, there are plot holes with them trying to pull this little trick, and if Q-Team were allowed to tackle more puzzles there would probably be even more. The problems were not as bad with 999 or VLR, but this game really dropped the ball in terms of writing quality.
