Zero Time Dilemma - Part 21 Force Quit (All Teams, Final)
And we have arrived at the grand finale, where we get to put the information we've been gathering for the past 20 videos into action and stop Zero II. All of the teams will come together, secrets will be revealed, and a new path will be forged, leading into the fourth Zero Escape game, essentially defeating the point of a trilogy.
So I talk about some of the things I didn't like during the credits, but there are also some things I need to mention here. One of the big things that was a bit of a disappointment was that the groups were completely static. In 999, you changed teams to access the various doors, which let you interact with different characters in different scenarios and you could appreciate how insane they were at times, such as the whole obsession with pipes (yes, this is actually a thing). VLR was pretty similar where you would always have groups of 3 that would change depending on the route you would go down so you could learn to trust Luna, doubt Dio, and see K or some of the others in action. Here, you always have the same 3 working together. Due to the fragment system requiring them to constantly forget memories, we never have the chance to get any real depth with them, and this seems to be the shortest Zero Escape yet. The best thing about this game I'd have to say is the voice acting, but that is partially because I can record games with it significantly faster than ones without. For example, in Fata Morgana or Valhalla, I have to stop to eat and drink while here I can just do that during the cinematics and pick up in the puzzle room like nothing ever happened. This may not exactly influence you guys watching this, but something like that allowed the double and eventual triple uploads while Fata Morgana and Valhalla can't always get single daily uploads, so it does make a difference.
Also worth pointing out here is that we learn Brother of Free the Soul (Delta) has the ability to telepathically manipulate people, and Dio who is supposed to be a clone of him in VLR seems to lack this ability. I'm wondering if this is also a plot hole or something that may get explained later. Odds are Dio was cloned through the use of the Transporter, and Delta himself has his ability after being cloned, so I'm kind of curious as to what happened.
