7As cool as many things were in the early multimedia era, certain things either didn't work quite right at the time due to the technology not QUITE being there yet, or have aged horribly. Or both. The Make My Video series is an excellent example of an idea from the era misfiring on all cylinders. And in this specific release, it features a pre-movie star Mark Walhberg, who at the time apparently thought he was the New England LL Cool J...or something, and loved to call people Skee or Skate or...something. I lived through that era and I don't recall that slang at all, must have been something he did on his own.
Anyway, I reviewed this travesty, so like the Geico raccoons eating horrible food, I want you to watch it also so you can see how bad it is. Also, there's a bonus young Seth Green sighting as well! Check it out.
