Ever since the start of the channel, I've been using a Framemeister to upscale the video from the consoles and feed into various capture devices to get a great looking picture for use in my reviews. The Framemeister, while expensive, was far better at doing this than other cheap SCART to HDMI converters on the market, and the different was night and day from the first time I used it.

However, the Framemeister is now an older device, and in the last few years, there have been other devices to hit the market to compete with it, including the subject of today's comparison video, the recently released Retrotink 5x, which I've been very impressed by. In today's video, I put them both through their paces, and test with games from 4 different consoles. Which is the better device? Take a look!

P.S. I mention the RetroRGB, My Life in Gaming, and Scarlet Sprites channels in this video, for good reason, and I DEFINITELY recommend you check their recent videos on the RetroTink 5x as well, as they're much better at this than I am, as this video was more to showcase what a real life experience with these devices was like, as opposed to an in depth review.
