83The Tokyo Game Show 2025 is over and while Capcom didn’t show any new gameplay, we still got a ton of new details about Resident Evil 9: Requiem! Producer Masata Kumazawa and Director Koshi Nakanishi confirmed many things fans have been speculating about: the return of classic features like puzzles, inventory management, and ink ribbons, and of course, zombies as the standard enemies! We also learned more about the possible end of numbered entries in the series, the balance between horror and action, and the big question: Where is Leon? Will he finally appear at The Game Awards or remain hidden until release as a huge surprise? Resident Evil 9: Requiem launches on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
